A Day of practicing Amal Kindness
We at Amal fellowship were assigned to practice Amal Kindness in 24 hours. Well, it was quite unexpected and I was not ready for it also. But I thought let’s give it a try because I will definitely learn something out of it.
First of All, I woke up in the morning of December 11, 2020 and immediately it came to my mind that I need to do 5 deeds of kindness. Then I came across an idea, I called my mother at home (as I am at plant site) after getting ready. I told her that I am going to the office please give me your blessings (because normally we call each other and have casual talk). She was not ready for this and she loved it as I can hear it in her voice.
Then in the afternoon after submitting my Amal Award video, I made a feast for my team members at plant by cooking Shami Kebab. I brought them from my home in Bahawalpur for myself (which my mom made). I cooked them and we all ate that and enjoyed it.
Now after completing my 2 deeds of kindness, I came across another idea. My job at plant is to generate analysis based reporting and there are 2 persons who are in my team that collect data for reporting. Today, as I kind gesture, I went with him in the machine hall(where machines data is collected) and worked with him for half an hour. We both enjoyed the time along with data collection. Hopefully he enjoyed it too.
Someone guided me that don’t let others use your mobile charger because it can damage or decrease it’s efficiency. Today, I told them that they can use it if needed. (but try to keep it as less as possible…hehe).
Lastly, when I came to room after office work, I served with another item that I brought from home. My mother made that for me and today following Amal Kindness, I shared it with my team members. After eating it, there remarks were, “KHAIR TU HAI AAJ KHAN G”.
That’s my day of doing Amal Kindness Deeds.
Well, I have always dreamed about writing something and today Amal has made that dream real. We (Amal Fellows) are trying to complete the given tasks within the specific time. And in doing all these things first time, I experienced very mixed feelings (Funny, emotional, hectic, bored, inspired, learnt new things and many more). And to be honest I enjoyed every moment and want to learn and grow with everything and all of them. Lastly, Farewell to the OLD SHAYAN.
